Dendy Park
One of Bayside City Council’s most significant outdoor recreation areas, Dendy Park is an impressive site with a fun and whimsical design. Set among trees, the park was designed to complement its natural environment while providing fun and challenging developmental opportunities for children in a location that adults will also love.
Reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland, this park features soft bubble gum pink rubber undersurfacing, striped like a crazy Cheshire cat and a large green mound slide resembling Alice’s friend the caterpillar. It also features bright red slides, a pinnacle+ timber modular rope structure and a Gyro4.5 swing, perfect for cooperative play. Featuring both triangular and square module grids and drawing from a range of different activity components, the rope structure provides play opportunities for both younger and older children.
