Picton Park

Picton Park located in Annadale Estate, Mickleham features a modern, brightly coloured playground. Positioned in open park land surrounded by established Red Gum trees, the designers saw a perfect opportunity to give the play space an Australian theme. The landscape architect worked with adventure+ to create perforated picture panels featuring Australian plants and animals, which not only looks fantastic but creates a lot of interest for children.

While small, the play opportunities provided in this playground are enormous. To children with wild imaginations, the play unit can seen as a fortress for the brave, with a rope bridge and fireman’s poles making great escape routes from the enemy!

A playground is somewhere a child can let their imagination roam free, or enjoy the sunshine while having a good time with friends. That is exactly what adventure+ has created in this playground.

Everyone in the company with whom I had contact was responsive, even when we changed our minds about fifteen times! The work was done very efficiently, on time and on budget.
