motion+ equipment is a complete range of play activities that move, including swinging, rocking, twisting, bouncing and more, and provides that action packed fun that kids love! From the all-time favourite swings to rockers, spinners, carousels, diggers and trampolines up to ultimate action, the Flyway flying fox, it is fun from start to finish.

Specially designed to provide an extra challenge, motion+ equipment is not only fun and exciting, but also helps develop motor skills, build strength and improve balance and coordination, along with other important physical development skills.

Being non static, motion+ equipment has that ‘something extra’ advantage that complements more traditional equipment well. With challenging equipment forming an integral part of good play area design, and the increasing desire to create unique play spaces, motion+ is the perfect answer.

Material Selection

A great feature of motion+ play activities is the ability to vary key materials to suit individual project needs.  With consideration of the proposed installation location, materials can be varied according to the level of corrosion resistance required. The standard level of corrosion protection will suit a majority of situations, but where there is a higher chance of corrosion, such as a seaside environment, a higher level of protection may be warranted. Material selection is an integral part of the design process, and our Playground Consultants will ensure that the right options are selected to meet your requirements.  Standard material options are detailed below, however please note that not all options are applicable to all play units.

Colour Selection

The selection of colours for play equipment is an important part of the design process, and should take into account the proposed user group and the surrounding environment.

With an extensive range of colours available, the combinations and themes possible are enormous.  Looking for something that blends in with a natural environment?  Or maybe other colours could be used that will provide an eye catching contrast?
