Overview

spectrum+ is an exceptionally robust combination play unit system with extensive play value potential. With a significant choice of play activities, materials and colour options, it combines versatility and high visual impact.

Main Uprights

• Steel Option: 75 x 75 x 3.0mm galvanised steel SHS with powder coat finish. Upgraded to 75 x 75 x 4.0mm in high load locations.

or

• Aluminium Option: 75 x 75 x 5.0mm aluminium SHS with powder coat finish.

Platform Decks

• Steel Option: 3.0mm galvanised steel sheet, punched dimple pattern and slip resistant powder coat.

or

• Timber Option: 125 x 60mm bearers and 120 x 35mm (nominal) decking – White Cypress, sawn finish and corners radiused.

or

• Aluminium Option: 3.0mm aluminium sheet with reinforcing frame, punched dimple pattern and slip resistant powder coat.

Roofs

3 ply HDPE plastic sheet, powder-coated galvanised sheet steel, corrugated steel sheeting or rotomoulded plastic as specified.

Safety Barriers

Standard openings with 900mm high guardrail panels on platforms over 500mm. Constructed from 3 ply HDPE plastic panels, powder coated galvanised steel tube, White Cypress timber, perforated steel sheet, or composite as specified, or custom as detailed.

Handgrips

27mm O/D galvanised steel tube with powder coat finish. Supplied at platform access points as appropriate.

Handrails

34mm O/D galvanised steel tube with powder coat finish.

Play Components

Fabricated from galvanised steel with powder coat finish, and/or 3 ply HDPE plastic sheet, or White Cypress timber as specified.

Slides

Rotomoulded plastic.

Tunnels

Powder coated galvanised steel tube with end panels.

Activity Panels

Rotomoulded plastic beads or 3 ply HDPE plastic sheet panels as appropriate.

Climbing Ropes

Synthetic strands braided over a galvanised steel wire core.

Hardware

• Galvanised Option:  Trilobial taptite bolts, cup head bolts, recessed safety nuts, screws – vandal resistant with galvanised/class 3 finish.

• Stainless Steel Option: Trilobial taptite bolts, cup head bolts, recessed safety nuts– vandal resistant and 316 Stainless Steel construction.

Corrosion Protection

• Primed Welds Option: Zinc rich powder coat primer applied to all welds.

• Full Primer Coat Option: Zinc rich powder coat primer base layer applied to all galvanised steel components.

Footings

Concrete to a minimum depth of 500mm with earth hard packed to mouth of hole.
