As traditional backyards shrink due to developers opting for smaller lot sizes, there is a growing demand to provide children with unique play experiences through a wide array of activities suitable for all age groups.

Large community playground with striking aesthetics and a huge variety of equipment.

Diverse range of play activities

The variety of equipment included in this playground is remarkable. Without taking up an excessive amount of space, the team was able to include a double slide, rock scaling wall, net bridge, balance disc walk, track ride and much more, all incorporated into the play unit. The variety and choice of equipment to play on makes it a great playground for all ages and provides enough space and options for everyone without it becoming overcrowded.

Thoughtful pairing of colours and materials

Careful thought was given to the playground’s colour scheme. The client desired a vibrant look while also wanting natural elements to harmonise with the surrounding landscape. Demonstrating the adventure+ design team’s ability to adapt to client needs, various custom features were added, including unique roofs and extended bridges connecting platform clusters. The combination of a modern colour palette with natural elements like rocks and logs in the edging creates a harmonious blend of styles that is both visually appealing and practical.

Landmark for real estate acquisitions

In collaboration with Rose Landscape Services, adventure+ crafted a design to establish the iconic statement the developers sought, setting it apart from other local constructions. This vision was realised by installing a towering 6m structure at the playground’s centre, providing a commanding presence visible from afar as one approaches the park.
