Colourful new train school playground replacement packed with active play elements
Kuraby State School embraced the concept of a train-themed playground, and adventure+ brought this vision to life with thoughtful design details. Capturing the essence of a train, the playground incorporates features such as a platform with a curved roof to resemble a carriage, while elements like a tunnel and vibrant HDPE panels evoke the front of a classic locomotive. Achieving a strong theme without sacrificing play value can be challenging, but this playground strikes the ideal balance delivering both imaginative appeal and engaging play experiences.

Our design process always begins with a careful assessment of the intended age groups, ensuring every playground suits its users. For this project, we thoughtfully included a diverse array of play activities to engage children of varying ages. The result is a playground featuring imaginative elements, dynamic active play options, and a selection of balancing challenges offering something for everyone.

This project includes a spectrum+ special design play unit that utilises powdercoated steel as the main structural element.
