Overview
Located at The Scots School Albury this colourful new playground is a great example of a school playground design that ticks all the boxes. It was designed to fit within the existing site to replace the previous playground, fit their budget and provide a diverse range of play elements.

New playground at The Scots School Albury ticks all the boxes.
The main tower was constructed using the steel based spectrum+ system, coupled with timber panelling as a feature. This is very effective in creating a modern, natural look. This more muted pallet is complemented beautifully by the warm burgundy and mulch undersurfacing needed to make a playground attractive to children.

Our team collaborated with The Scots School Albury to design a playground that would challenge students and provide them with a place to burn energy during class breaks. We carefully selected play elements such as balancing elements, climbing walls, and monkey bars to promote active play and help develop upper body strength.

This project includes a spectrum+ special design play unit that utillises powdercoated steel as the main structural element.
