During the Highgate Recreation Reserve playground upgrade, the designers addressed these needs by creating distinct areas for juniors and seniors. This approach ensures not only a welcoming environment for families but also keeps all children actively engaged and safe during their visit.

Area for younger children

The junior play area features a visually appealing design with calming neutral tones and natural timber accents. With a focus on the needs of younger children, the design incorporates lower platforms and easily accessible activities to encourage participation and confidence. This junior play unit exemplifies a thoughtfully crafted space, purpose-built to inspire and safely engage little ones in play.

Challenging play

The senior play unit stands out as a dynamic structure built with the robust steel spectrum+ system, delivering the impressive heights that appeal to older children seeking excitement. Incorporating a variety of modular rope elements and engaging play activities, this senior area offers a rewarding challenge and encourages older children to build both upper and lower body strength through diverse, active play.
