The City of Belmont engaged adventure+ to create this brightly coloured playground that adds plenty of visual appeal to the local area. Play equipment for councils needs to be robust as well as offering some great play opportunities for children, so the construction material selected for this play equipment was steel.

Australian designed and manufactured, adventure+ equipment is designed to take into consideration the harsh conditions of this country. Our steel playgrounds and their construction method give a tough, weather-resistant installation that’s built to last.

The council specified sand undersurfacing and sandstone borders, which was able to be incorporated in a way that complimented the surroundings. With a relatively small budget, the playground was carefully designed for maximum play value. Fortunately, most of the play activities within an adventure+ playground are “long” pieces of equipment which can be played on simultaneously by relatively high numbers without compromising safety or function.
