Overview

This project was part of the government’s initiative to improve the wellbeing of local communities and we were glad to work with the council and community to achieve this outcome.
Tweed Heads, NSW
Client: Tweed Shire Council
Newly upgraded playground, focused on providing fitness and fun for the local community.
Feedback from the local community had a key influence on the playground design. Some of the feedback included climbing equipment, outdoor fitness equipment, a spider web, and equipment suitable for school-aged children.
Due to the large adventure+ range of play equipment and ability to customise, almost all the community feedback and requirements were able to be included. Elements such as the stretching station, rock wall, scramble net, bead ropes and spider web climber catered for the fitness requests from the community, while components like the curving slide, monkey bars, wave slide and chain ladder fulfilled the fun aspect of the design.
This project includes a spectrum+ special design play unit that utilises powdercoated steel as the main structural element.
