Overview

Bright and inclusive play space

Working closely with the Golden Plains Shire, the adventure+ team organised clearing out the old play area, preparing the ground for an exciting new play space, and installing an array of new play equipment such as slides, swings, rockers, and even a wheelchair accessible carousel. To ensure safety and amenity, edging, mulch undersurfacing and rubber access paths were installed. Complementing the existing shelter and toilet facilities, additional seating areas were installed by others, thus enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

Play space revitalised

The newly revitalised play space is now open and ready for the community to explore and enjoy. With a variety of play structures, such as a junior play unit, senior tower play unit, surfboard rocker, motorbike straddle rocker, wheelchair accessible carousel, see saw rocker, swing frame, Gyro nest swing, monkey bars, climbing cube, fire truck single rocker, and a twisting tube slide, there are endless opportunities for fun and adventure awaiting kids of all ages.

Warm aesthetic

The playground is thoughtfully designed to create an inviting and vibrant atmosphere, blending warm and bright colours with a playful mix of steel and timber elements. The pops of aqua accents add a cheerful touch and enhance the overall aesthetics of the space. The combination of terracotta rubber and mulch undersurfacing adds to the visual appeal and ensures a comfortable and safe environment for children to play and explore. This thoughtful design approach makes the play space a welcoming and visually appealing destination for families.
