As part of the City of Whittlesea's renewal program, adventure+ was engaged to create a bright and engaging playground at Poplar Park. The design team at adventure+ took the brief and produced an outcome that the community loves!

Good design elements

This new playground features a variety of play elements that are suitable for all age groups. These elements include the fireman’s pole, disc crossing, stepper bridge, monkey bar, and orbit spinner. The variety and choice of equipment to play on makes it a great playground for all ages and provides enough space and options for everyone without it becoming overcrowded. With plenty to swing, slide, or climb on this special design play unit is designed to keep children occupied for hours!

Bright and bold aestetic

While the play experience was important, we didn’t overlook the aesthetics of the playground. Special consideration was taken when deciding on the colour scheme for the playground. The client wanted something vibrant and colorful that would stand out from other playgrounds in the region.

The council and the community were thrilled with the final result.
