Overview
As part of their playground upgrade, Prospect North Primary School wanted a fun and challenging playground for their students. The brief provided to adventure+ was to create a playground that included inclusive and accessible elements, climbing elements and a double-wave slide. Our play consultant worked with them closely to tick all their boxes.

Brightly coloured playground with inclusive elements to cater to all abilities
Working closely with Ventia, the landscape architect Designwell and Prospect North Primary School, adventure+ created an inclusive play space that accommodates all abilities and ages. The combination unit offers exceptional play value and provides all abilities access routes throughout and onto the playground. Including a wheelchair-friendly ramp, rubber undersurfacing pathways, and various accessible ancillary items was a considered and deliberate part of the playground’s design.
The school wanted to create an opportunity for all children to be able to play together on different parts of the same equipment.
Carefully selecting colours ensured the playgrounds matched the surrounding environment and gave the students an inviting and engaging atmosphere. The compact play unit offers a balanced variety of activities for everyone. Providing the entire playground package ensured the playground redevelopment experience was as smooth as possible for the school.
This project includes a spectrum+ special design play unit that utilises powder coated steel uprights as the main structural element.
