The new ninja course area at Toorak College is designated as a place to play and have outdoor fun as well. The school contracted adventure+ to create a play area that would challenge students' skills and abilities with a fun and attractive playground alternative. When designing the course, special care was taken to include activities developed to push children to their limits and keep them engaged for longer.

Fun and challenging ninja course to encourage active students
A ninja course was chosen by the school as they are a great way to get children active and moving! This obstacle course is made up of a range of challenging activities such as a warped wall, a frame climber, stepping pads, a horizontal net and more. Combined together to make a course these components are a fun way to provide much-needed physical development and are a schoolyard asset to keep children occupied.
This more challenging style ultimate ninja course playground encourages children to build their upper body strength and keep their joints strong and healthy. All while getting a full-body cardio workout and releasing endorphins.
Promoting physical development ensures that children and their bodies are as healthy as they should be. Improving physical activity will also always loop back into improving mental wellbeing. The fact that physical activity helps improve one’s mental health too is just one of the many benefits we will dive into through this quadrant. Children’s minds and bodies will be supported, strengthened, balanced, and boosted through play.
Schoolyard appeal is important to maximising enrollments and improving parent satisfaction. That is why in this project the playground aesthetics were not forgotten and a modern colour scheme with steel elements was selected. Combined with the bright blue rubber undersurfacing gives a neat and eye-catching result.
The school’s children and the teachers are thrilled with the outcome.
