Overview
The new playground at Forest Lake State School looks fantastic. The Parents and Community committee approached adventure+ with a request for a new primary playground that would challenge the students and give them someone to burn their energy during the class breaks at school.

Fully customised primary school playground, meeting all requirements
Collaboration between a range of stakeholders and design flexibility was what made this project special. The P&C team played an important role, providing a detailed wish list of products and components to be included. Using everyone’s ideas, the design team at adventure+ produced a playground design that suited the requirements for the school exactly. After finalising the playground design, the P&C was also able to choose the rubber undersurfacing for the play area.
The playground consists of a large variety of play elements. All chosen specifically but the P&C, these include a Scramble Net Wall, Stepper Bridge, Obstacle Bridge, Sun Panel, Steering Wheel, Wave Slide, and Scramble Net. Many options on a school playground is a great idea as primary students can often tire of one thing quickly, so allowing them to have different options to play with keeps them occupied for a longer period.
The staff and students were very impressed with their new playground and enjoy having somewhere fun to spend their class breaks.
This project includes a spectrum+ special design play unit that utilises powdercoated steel as the main structural element.
