Linear new school playground equipment Brisbane replacement packed with active play elements
We always take special care to evaluate the age group of the playground users before designing any playground. This project was no different. We have included a wide range of play activities that cater to different age groups. This new playground offers a variety of play options such as imaginative play items, active activities and balancing elements.
Our team collaborated with Maryborough West State School to design a playground that would challenge students and provide them with a place to burn energy during class breaks. We carefully selected play elements such as rope structures, stepping stones, climbing walls, and monkey bars to promote active play and help develop upper body strength.
The surface of the play space was finished off with rubber undersurfacing. Not only does this provide a soft landing for students, but it also helps keep the area neat and tidy. Rubber undersurfacing is a great option for play spaces as it is durable, slip-resistant, and easy to maintain. This means that maintenance staff can spend less time cleaning and more time ensuring that the play space is safe and fun for children to play in.
The children and the teachers are thrilled with the project outcome.
This project includes a symmetry+ special design junior play unit that utilises powdercoated steel as the main structural element.
