Trampoline area features round, square and hex trampolines

Variety of Trampoline Designs

The newly designed play area at St Francis of Assisi Primary School is an exciting addition featuring nine trampolines, each offering a unique shape and experience. Among these are two round trampolines, which are perfect for individual play and provide a classic bouncing experience. Additionally, there are four square trampolines, which are ideal for those who enjoy a bit more space to move around and perform tricks. Lastly, the play area includes three hexagonal trampolines, which offer a unique geometric design that encourages creativity and exploration in bouncing.

These trampolines are thoughtfully distributed throughout the play area to ensure students have ample space to enjoy their bouncing activities. The square and hexagonal trampolines are strategically clustered, creating a dynamic environment promoting group play. This arrangement allows students to bounce alongside their friends, fostering social interaction and teamwork as they engage in fun and energetic play.

Advantages of Bouncing

Trampolines offer students a great way to release energy during lunch breaks, providing an outlet for their enthusiasm. Bouncing is fun and helps maintain fitness by building muscles, improving cardiovascular health, and increasing flexibility. It also enhances balance and coordination, which are crucial for sports and daily activities. The rhythmic motion releases endorphins, boosting mood and reducing stress. Group trampoline setups promote cooperation and teamwork, helping students develop social skills beyond the playground.
