Carefully design for maximum engagement

For every playground we design we carefully assess the playground users, their ages and design a solution to suit. This project was no exception. With a huge range of different play activities, from imaginative play items to active activities and elements that promote balancing, every age group was catered for.

Rope climbing structures

One of the most popular pieces of equipment in the new playground was the large steel frame rope structure. Rope climbing structures provide the opportunity for children to climb to heights safely.

From the early stages of this project we were very impressed with the company. We briefed five separate playground companies early on in our process and adventure+ was the only company to meet the design parameters of our brief in a creative and exciting manner.

Beauty of timber

The school selected to use timber as the main structural element for the playgrounds.

This gives an excellent feel to the play area and looked excellent with the large oak trees in the school yard.

Easy process, minimal disruption

adventure+ play consultant James Rogers worked closely with the school leadership team to design the project. This involved several visits to the school to access the sites and discuss the school and students’ ideas. Every play area was presented in 3D illustrations to help the school visualise what their new play areas would look like.

Once the design was finalised, the project was manufactured and installed by our specialised installation crews. 

Our school community is delighted with the final result and to hear our students squealing with delight as they engage happily and creatively with the equipment is wonderful.
