A unique community playground with a cube look and unique colour scheme
The cube look of this playground design is what makes it so ‘out of the box’! Our creative brains at adventure+ went to work to create something special for this pocket park and settled on something simple yet effective. For this project, our designers swapped out the roofs with a cube structure, which made all the difference.
That’s the beauty of our ability to customise. We can make small changes to a play unit that can have a substantial visual impact.
Our designers selected a contemporary colour scheme consisting of greys and greens that look fantastic within the setting. The perforated metal guardrail panels also are another interesting feature of the design.
It is critical to think about engagement when designing a community playground. That’s why in this playground a diverse range of play components of varying challenges was included. While smaller and lower-level components for juniors at located at one end of the playground, the other end has more challenging bridges and overhead activities for older children.
This project includes a custom spectrum+ design play unit that utilises powdercoated steel as the main structural element.
