Steel and Wooden Swing Frame Options 

All our community swings are available with steel or wooden frames depending on your design preferences. The spectrum+ swing frame is a robust galvanised steel style frame. Choose from a range of powder coat colours ranging from bright, bold colours through to earthier tones.  

The symmetry+ swing frame utilises White Cypress timber as the main structural element. This wooden swing frame design is particularly popular in high profile architectural playgrounds where landscaping or nature-inspired aesthetics are important. Timbers can be left their natural colour, eventually weathering to grey, or can be supplied with a protective coating in a variety of colours. 

Benefits of Swinging 

Swinging is lots of fun and helps children develop core strength, gross motor skills and fine motor skills. Swinging can be calming, soothing, fun and improve alertness all at once. By stimulating different parts of a child’s brain simultaneously, swinging can improve overall body awareness. This includes stimulating the vestibular system deep in the inner ear. This essential system helps us understand our body’s positioning in space and its response to the force of gravity, which helps hone balancing skills, posture and coordination.
